As we approach this Sunday, which is the Sunday of the “Baptism of the Lord,” I’ve been thinking about what baptism means.  You’ll have to come to worship to get my complete thoughts.  For now, I want to hear your thoughts…

What does your baptism mean for you?  Notice I did NOT say “to you” but “for you.”  In other words, what does your baptism require of you?

Too often we think baptism is something we do for ourselves (or our kids) and that’s the end of it…nothing more is required of us.  But the fact is, baptism is NOT something we do; it is something God does for us, and therefore, is only the beginning of a journey.

So, what does your baptism mean for you?
