God never sleepsLet me tell you a story:

Tucked away in history of Middle Eastern folklore is the story of a poor woman who appealed to the Sultan of Turkey for payment for her loss of property.  “How did you lose your property?” the Sultan asked.
“I fell asleep,” she replied, “and your enemies came and took everything I had.”
Bothered a bit by her response, the Sultan asked, “But why did you fall asleep knowing my enemies were nearby?”  The woman answered, “I fell asleep because I believed you would be awake.”
Astonished and surprised by her unquestioning trust in him, the Sultan repaid her fully for her loss.
God never has to compensate us for being undependable.  God never sleeps on the job.
